Miranda Liverpool has enjoyed learning and training in various forms of dance since the age of 11. Starting with Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre and Hip-Hop, she eventually branched out into additional, and more culturally centered styles of dance including Afro-Brazilian, Samba, African, Afro-Cuban, and Latin Cabaret. A graduate of the Ryerson Dance Program, she has had the opportunity to work with many exemplary teachers, such as Karen Duplisea, Kenny Pearl, Nadia Potts and Vicki St. Denys. She has also performed works by talented choreographers, namely Sylvie Bouchard, Julia Sasso, Heidi Strauss, Kevin A. Ormsby, Adrianna Yanuziello, Roshanak Jaberi, Lua Shayenne and Jasmyn Fyffe. Miranda’s career has taken her from the Toronto Argonaus Dance Team, to the stages of Carnival Cruise Lines, to television commercials and stage shows. In addition to working with the Wind In The Leaves Collective, she is currently dancing with The Dance Migration, AYA Dance Collective, and the Afro-Latino Dance Company, and doing free-lance dance and vocal work throughout the city.
